1st Leaders come in different flavors: There are all types of leaders and you will probably encounter more than one species in your life.
Formal leaders are those we elect to positions or offices, as senators, congressmen and president of the local clubs.

2nd Leadership is a process of becoming: Although some people seem born with innate leadership qualities, without the right environment and exposure, they may not develop their full potential. Similar to learn to ride a bike, you can also learn to be a leader and develop your leadership skills.
Knowledge on leadership theories and skills may be formally gained by enrolling in leadership seminars, workshops and conferences. watching Daily interactions with people the opportunity and practice leadership theories. The guides are always in the spotlight. Note that your credibility depends as a leader much from your actions: your interaction with your family, friends and colleagues how you manage your personal and organizational responsibility, and even how to talk to the newspaper vendor across the street. One can not simply “talk the talk”, he must walk. “Repeated actions become habits. Habits in turn form the character of a person. Steven Covey’s book 7 Habits of Highly Effective provides good ideas on how to achieve personal leadership.
4th Share leadership: leadership is not the sole responsibility of one person, but a shared responsibility between the members of an emerging team. A leader belongs to a group. Each member has to take responsibility.
Formal leadership positions are just outside the powers have their responsibilities as members of the team. Effective leadership requires members to do their own work. Starting as a single group of people, members and leaders work to form an effective team. In this context, the social interaction has a major role in the leadership. To learn to work together requires trust between leaders and members of an emerging team. Trust is built on actions and not just words. When mutual respect exists, trust is fostered and confidence is built.
5th Leadership styles depend on the situation: How does the dictatorship of Singapore, but not the United States of America? In addition to culture, belief system, the value and form of government, the current state of the nation also affects the leadership styles used by its formal leaders.
There is no rule that a style can be used. Most of the time involved, the leader of a combination of leadership styles depending on the situation. In emergency situations such as times of war and calamity, decision-making is a matter of life or death. Thus, the leader of a nation can not afford the luxury of consulting with all departments in order to reach important decisions. The case is of course different in times of peace and order. The different sectors and other branches of government freely interact and participate in governance. Another example is in leading organizations. Where employees are highly motivated and competent, a combination of high and moderate participative management style delegative is best. But if the employees have the skills and commitment from below, a combination of high coaching, high support and guide the behavior of the leaders of the organization is not required. Now that you know these are things to keep in mind that it has always ideas that we think we know. There are concepts that we take for granted, but they are actually the most useful ideas on leadership.
